Our History

HISTORY FROM THE DIRECTOR’S DESK

Revival International School was established on the 4th of September, 1994. The vision was borne out of the grace we had in rearing chicks for sale in the years 1990 – 1993. We thought if we had the grace to wake up those early mornings to care for chicks, then that energy and grace could be expanded in training up children to become future leaders of this great nation.

We were further inspired considering the low level of primary education and few number of International Schools at that time, there was a need to revive the system and that came about the name REVIVAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.

The school started with thirteen (13) pupils in the Nursery and Kindergarten classes with staff strength of two (2) Teachers; Mrs. Evelyn Assabil and Mrs. Patricia Amoah. The school was officially registered in the year 2000 by Ghana Education Service.

In the year 2003, the school presented its first batch of 20 students to write the WAEC – BECE EXAMINATION. The result was excellent with a hundred percent (100%) pass and indeed all subsequent BECE results up to date have been 100% success.

By the grace of God, the school has churned out many eminent personalities in the society in different professional fields of endeavor.

In terms of facilities, the school can boast of a huge 3 blocks of two floors storey buildings with a number of Classrooms, Computer Laboratory, Library, Science Laboratory, Chinese Lab, Staff Common Room, Dining Hall, Administrative Offices, Typing and Printing Room, Accounts and Bursary Department.

The school can also boast of a huge boarding complex which houses boarders in a very conducive atmosphere.

In the next few years ahead, our vision is to build a new complex for the Junior High School.

In the light of this, I would want to assure all parents and guardians that REVIVAL INTERNATIONAL, a school of choice has come to stay to train, equip and impact academic excellence and Godly wisdom in your wards for the next generation of Godly intellectuals.
